General Terms and Conditions

After your Design Consultation with us, we will send you an invoice that reflects your design choices. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required prior to beginning production of your dress and the remainder must be paid before delivery or collection of the gown.

Dresses are cut to specific measurements. We do, however, have third-party seamstress partners that can aid with alterations. Agape Wedding Boutique offers a voucher which covers up to R500.00of the alterations. Should alternations exceed this cost, brides are required to pay the excess amount.

Our suppliers require 12 – 16 weeks to manufacturer a wedding gown. Expected delivery dates supplied for custom-made orders are an estimate only. Once your gown has arrived, we will call you to schedule an appointment to pick up your gown at which point the final payment for the dress is also due. For clients that require delivery, final payment is required prior to delivery.

We understand that buying a wedding gown is an extremely important purchase so we want you to be completely satisfied as such we grant a 100% refund of the full invoice price. A 100% refund is granted if you are not satisfied with your dress upon completion and delivery/collection as a result of a significant and/or material latent defect of the dress (e.g.measurements are completely off relative to those you submitted, dress design is objectively different to the one agreed upon).
In the instance of an order retraction before the completion of the dress, we offer a 30% to 50% refund of the full invoice price depending on the timing of the retraction.

We prioritise production visibility for each of our brides. As such, we provide updates on the progress of the gown on online platforms such as our User Dashboard, Email and WhatsApp. It is the responsibility of brides to approve progress reports in a timely manner as this affects lead times. In instances where the bride has not been in communication with Agape Wedding Boutique regarding approval, we reserve the right to move forward with production in alignment with the initial dress design.
Agape Wedding Boutique will not be liable for any damages relating but not limited to:

  • Cancellation of the wedding.
  • Any acts of God, riots which may affect the wedding.
  • Any late arrivals of gowns resulting from delayed orders from late payments made or delayed communication from the bride.

Where a Marketing Discount has been offered, the bride agrees to provide selected photos, videos, testimonials, Agape website features and social media posts – as guided by Agape Wedding Boutique.
